And I am Based in Troy, New York, I enjoy building solutions for large and small organizations alike.
I grew up as the kid who hooked up the new electronic appliance, like our VCR or Nintendo NES. I was always fascinated with how things worked, and how changing a device's configuration could enable (or break) features. Then and now, I attribute most of what I know to trial & error, and plain ol' curiousity.
I have worked for multiple State agencies, in functions spanning many facets of application development and even project management. I have also worked as a freelancer, helping smaller organizations and individuals with infrastructure and application development projects.
I use .NET (Core, Framework), JavaScript ES6, Node.js and more to build powerful services, batch processes and APIs. I also use various scripting languages and tools for my backend and automation needs.
Most days, I am working on some component within a web application. I use project documents and business requirements to design and develop everything from the database model to the user experience. I employ modern front end frameworks like Angular and React when necessary but I also enjoy creating native front ends when feasible.
As a developer, everything I build is meant to solve a problem. I take pride in being able to develop solutions that lead to trusting relationships with my customers.
IT is an industry that is constantly changing. Being curious helps me to keep learning new and better ways to solve problems.
